Corned beef hash and green beans

I was bored and wanted to see if I could shape corned beef hash. I tried packing an egg mold super tight and it did not work. Next I tried packing it into a cookie cutter. The first one came out pretty well but the second, not so much.

Lunch was corned beef hash, green beans, and I did add a cookie for desert later.

Pig on the Farm & 100th Bento!

Today we have a pig on the farm. The pig and barn are made from a Biscoff sandwich. The barn window and door are made from slices of grapes. I tried to use a green food safe marker, but it did not work to well.  This all sits on a bed of spinach. I made a fence out of matchstick carrots. To the left of that I have grapes and cheese.

In honor of making it to 100 bento lunches, I have decided to host a giveaway. All items are brand new. I had to take the egg mold out of its package in order to get a decent picture of it. Included in this giveaway is a package of food picks, a heart egg mold, a package of food separator sheets, and a Stitch cookie press. The cookie presses work pretty well to make cute mini sandwiches.  To enter the giveaway, use the Rafflecopter box at the end of this post.

Stir Fry Beef with Piggies

Doesn't this look yummy! Yes, I know it is being taken over by lunches for the Elder. I have more time to pay attention to his. Although he is also kinda my minion. I mean, when he is home I feel like he is minion #5 dancing on the clouds. Ha ha ha! I think I just got myself grounded. Oh, I love him dearly, I really do.

On the left we have a stir fry sitting on a bed of brown rice. The stir fry consists of beef, onions, carrots, and broccoli. Sadly, most of the carrots and broccoli are missing. There was an incident with the container holding just the stir fry falling out of the fridge and almost causing me to slip and spill my chocolate milk. Where was the top? Well, that would be the correct way of storing something, even short term, wouldn't it? Therefore, I had to store it without a top to rebel. Against who? Well, I'm not sure. It sounded good though, right? The 2 piggy sauce bottles have soy sauce in them.

To the right we have some raw carrots and a little container.

The last little bit is apple and cranberry crumble. Mmm...  I ate the left over topping and I have to say it was pretty good.

I think it could use some more... Pork.

This time half the box is leftovers from the night before. Last night it was not a hit with the younger crowd. So I gave it a second shot with some success! And yes, my goal last night was to eat something so fatty that I could feel my arteries clog.

We have a peanut butter pig with a ham nose, cheese nostrils, and candy eyes. Carrot sticks are to the left, bananas with red sugar sprinkles on top, and some grapes.

The rounds are bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with ham and 2 cheeses. Next we have bacon wrapped white asparagus and a sword pick with grape tomatoes on it. Today's letter and number actually go along with the box. There were 3 meat rounds and 3 grape tomatoes. P is for pig, pork, and pleasantly plump. If you notice, I never have any dips for the carrots. I learned that if I provide dip, the minions will eat the dip but not the veggies. If I have no dip, they will eat the veggies 70% of the time without encouragement.

Tyke actually ate the bacon wrapped chicken this time around. And Pork licked the asparagus several times. Once I turned my back he started to eat his bacon and chicken rolls. He is such a ham.

Pork trying the asparagus.
