Pasta and an Octopus

I had some leftover sausage from making lunches for The Elder and Julie. They had already ate it 2 days this week so I figured I would give it to the minions for lunch. The top meal was what the boys had. The only difference between theirs and The Colonel's lunch was that her fruit was cut up smaller. She does just fine with sausage, so I had no left it whole.

Lunch in our Easy Lunchboxes today! We have carrot sticks (slightly steamed for Colonel Sanders), strawberries, grapes, cheese cubes, tri colored pasta, and a turkey sausage octopus with whole wheat spaghetti legs.

The Colonel Decided to eat the legs off first.

So did Pork. The octopus is always a huge hit around here!

Look at that! Clark ate the legs off too!

Tyke was not very happy with me. First I would not allow him to watch tv, then I made him take his acid meds, then I forced him to eat at the table. *gasps* I know, I am a mean mama.

Sausage Octopus

Today we have a cheese and butter baked potato and octopus sausage laying on a bed of spinach. I added a few halves of grape tomatoes for color. Above that is a turtle for desert and some strawberries.

The Minions are back!

I was trying to be a cool mom today. I think I failed. No one understood what it was I was trying to get them to do. Oh well...  I am not sure how well you can see it, but in ham I have 1 2 _ 4. Then I had 3 slices of sausage, grape tomatoes, and kiwi. I was trying to get the minions to give me the missing number.

The bottom tier continued with the 3 theme. I have 3 wedges of Biscoff spread on a tortilla and 3 slices of cheese.

Isn't Pork handsome! I am so glad they all feel better!

Colonel Sanders was lucky enough to get my bento from Japan today! She has diced kiwi, grape tomatoes, sausage, cheese, and some sandwich wedges.

Can you believe The Colonel has all her baby teeth now? That's right, she has 16 teeth and is 13 1/2 months old.

Tyke and Colonel Sanders checking out their lunches.

Under the sea

There is a peanut butter sandwich under the crab. There are 2 crab cheese, a sausage octopus, sausage and whole wheat pasta crab and jellyfish. Blood oranges, cheese cutouts, and ABC pretzels.

I really am not a huge fan of this type of sausage. Or hot dogs for that matter. The minions love them though! To make them, all you do is break off spaghetti to shorter lengths, push it into your sausage and then cook it. Just follow the directions on the box for cooking the spaghetti and it will turn out perfect. The minions played with their sea creatures for a bit before devouring them. Don't let the picture fool you! There is also half a peanut butter sandwich in there as well as 2 crab cheese aka crab ragoon. I served these with some extra ABC pretzels. We made a game of figuring out the letters before the boys ate them.

And today I spelled out their name or nickname with pretzels. Yes... I have a minions that we call Pork. We are slowly weaning him off it. He's not fat and is quite the opposite. Just like his other 2 brothers, he is below the 5th percentile. Yes, my 2 1/2 year old wears 12 to 18 month size clothes. Sadly they all inherited my genes and are short. Pork got his nick name from the fact that he eats non stop. Not only does he finish his own plate and any 2nds or 3rds you put on it, he will  also eat what his brothers leave on their plates. We actually take him away from the table. I swear he has a black hole in his stomach.
