Today I was watching 2 other children. I needed a craft to do and also needed to have 5 mostly matching lunch containers. Needless to say, I do not have 5 that match. So I decided to do another egg carton lunch. Designing the outside makes a perfect craft and filling the inside is very efficient and fast. Perfect when you are feeding 5 little boys between the ages of 2 years and 5 years old. This is in addition to feeding little miss Colonel Sanders. Poor Colonel Sanders has now cut 6 teeth and I think is getting ready to cut some more. She seems to cut them in 2's.
Anyway, today's lunch consists of salad dressing, grapes, peanut butter and jelly finger sandwiches, cheese cubes, baby carrots, cucumbers, raisins, and blackberries.
Yes, I know it is a bit of a variety, but I had a picky eater and wanted to expose him to a few new things. Also the sandwich is made from a hotdog bun. One of the my minions has suddenly started to refuse to eat crusts. Being the mean mama I am, I thought a hotdog bun would be perfect! The top is pretty much nothing but crust! After a bit of crying, the sandwiches were gobbled up and no one died from the "dangerous" crust.
I forgot to ask the mother if I could post pictures of her 2 boys, so instead of waiting (and then forgetting) I just decided not to post them. Instead you can enjoy looking at my 3 handsome little men.
They all loved their lunches. They also enjoyed decorating the outside of the containers.

Freezer Leftovers Bento
I amaze myself with the food I keep. I was looking through the fridge freezer and found quite a few bags with only a few of the item in them. Not enough for a meal for even one person, but I thought if I added them together there would be something.
The small amounts of veggies were made into baby food for The Colonel. The boys had some of the more interesting stuff (things that taste good cold) for lunch plus some. I had a bag with 3 of the dinosaur chicken nuggets, a bag with 5 cheese sticks, and a handful of those stuffed cheese bread bits among the rest.
So on the left side we have a chicken nugget dinosaur sitting on top of a cheese stick. Under that are 3 mozzarella stuffed bites. Also we have 3 peanut butter and jelly music notes.
To the right are 3 celery pieces with peanut butter, grapes, strawberries, and ham spread with tomato basil Laughing Cow cheese and rolled up.

The Lorax and Green Eggs.
Pork Chop and Tyke got a hold of my not so awesome camera. They took turns taking pictures of themselves.... And what was left of a box of handmade chocolates their daddy gave me for Single Awareness Day. Good thing the minions are so cute. One day they will know better than to touch mama's chocolate.
The Lorax is an avocado sandwich. I know that sounds a little odd, but it is quite good. Toast the bread, add avocado, salt, and pepper and serve. Yummy! Even the minions will eat it. I tell them it is green cheese and it works every time.On top of that I placed some of your run of the mill processed
The idea for the green eggs came from a post I saw at Bentobloggy. She made pesto eggs. Sadly, I have no pesto or even basil. So I opted to use food coloring to dye my lumpy curried eggs. In person it looks much greener. Although besides the color, they look more appealing in the picture.
With the green eggs we have some ham (not going to dye it), carrots, a strawberry, blueberries and some goldfish.
Today's bento was purchased off of Ebay.
