Leftover Chicken nuggets

Lunch for The Colonel. We have leftover homemade chicken nuggets (sliced for her), granola with extra dried cranberries (minus the larger nuts), peanut butter tortilla wraps, and triangle cheese slices.

Pork and Tyke (even though they are still a bit ill) also had leftover chicken nuggets, granola with extra cranberries, peanut butter tortilla wraps, triangle cheese slices, and celery sticks.

These chicken nuggets taste really good cold. They really do.

Chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes

Fruit crumble, frozen peas and carrots, homemade chicken nuggets, and mashed potatoes.

I know chicken nuggets are made often. They happen to be a huge hit over here and the minions (and The Elder) will gladly eat them. The Elder actually requests them once a week.

Anpanman Onigiri

I decided to make the minions some onigiri. The rice was made with homemade turkey broth. I wanted to make it fun so I took out my egg molds and use those to make the shapes. I use my Anpanman and star molds. Inside of them I have some chicken and veggies. To create the face I used ketchup and nori.  I also included various sliced fruit, piece of banana, cheese, and homemade chicken nuggets.

Here is Colonel Sanders lunch. Her chicken nuggets are much smaller than her brothers.

Sadly no one but The Colonel had any interest in the onigiri.

Homemade chicken nuggets and apple cars

First things first, I forgot to take a picture of  The Colonel's lunch. I am sorry. It was very similar to the other lunches only toddler friendly.

Today for lunch we have apple cars with blueberry wheels. I used a dab of sunbutter to keep the wheels attached. I also have 2 pieces of chocolate and some cheese. In the top tier (bottom) I have celery with sunbutter and homemade chicken nuggets.

Big boy Tyke eating his chocolate first. Funny tidbit: All 3 boys have that orange shirt he is wearing. I dressed both Clark and Tyke in it today. Luckily they are at an age where they do not care. I think it is cute when they are all matching.

The Colonel is still in her pjs. I am kinda lazy. Her toes get cold on our wood floors, yet she refuses to keep her socks on. So I sometimes just put her into another set of pjs when she wakes up. Clean clothes daily, just pjs instead of day wear.

My Pork Chop is growing up!!!! Look at him and then go back to one of the much older posts. He is thinning out. He is not so much a pork anymore.

Freezer Leftovers Bento

I amaze myself with the food I keep. I was looking through the fridge freezer and found quite a few bags with only a few of the item in them. Not enough for a meal for even one person, but I thought if I added them together there would be something.

The small amounts of veggies were made into baby food for The Colonel. The boys had some of the more interesting stuff (things that taste good cold) for lunch plus some. I had a bag with 3 of the dinosaur chicken nuggets, a bag with 5 cheese sticks, and a handful of those stuffed cheese bread bits among the rest.

So on the left side we have a chicken nugget dinosaur sitting on top of a cheese stick. Under that are 3 mozzarella stuffed bites. Also we have 3 peanut butter and jelly music notes.

To the right are 3 celery pieces with peanut butter, grapes, strawberries, and ham spread with tomato basil Laughing Cow cheese and rolled up.

Yellow and white chick

The boys are still not wanting to eat rice for some odd reason. They use to love it. So today I thought I would try something a little different. I decided to use my rice molds on broccoli and cheese Rice a Roni. I have to say it held together rather well. To bad the minions still would not touch it. They just ate the cheese off the top.

Anyway, today's lunch consisted of Rice a Roni  chicks with a swiss cheese and cheddar cheese chick on top, apple "eggs", strawberries and blueberries on a sword skewer, and 100% processed chicken nuggets (yep, do you want to know how these are made? Ask and I am sure you will not eat them again). Oh, and spinach under the chicks. Today's letter was "U" and the number 8. Why 8? Because we had 8 chicken nuggets and it worked perfect to count with.

I cheated with the chick eyes. I think I will be doing that a lot from now on. Wilton makes candy eyes. How great is that? Give the minions a little sweet with their lunch and make my life easier.
